First,
blood flow to the skin and fat layer just below the skin is substantially increased which
in turn increases the metabolic rate in those areas. Fat cells metabolize (shrink and send
sugars and by-products into the bloodstream and lymph systems where they are processed by
the liver and kidneys and flushed out of the body) with this stimulation.
Secondly, the tissue mobilization accelerates
lymphatic drainage allowing for more rapid and complete removal of waste, toxins and other

Third the manual manipulation stretches the septa
