Bid For Surgery brings together consumers seeking elective, aesthetic procedures, with the doctors who can help them. Procedures currently include cosmetic surgery, cosmetic dentistry, LASIK vision correction surgery and podiatric surgery.
Bid For Surgery's patent-pending, Web-based technology enables a consumer to anonymously post a requested procedure online. In response, you can anonymously offer your best total procedure fee and other important information. The online process is "dynamic" and "blind."
This process empowers consumers to search for and select surgeons or dentists based on their personal criteria, such as total procedure fee, credentials, experience, practice location, practice specialty, etc. Consumers do not have to select doctors offering the lowest total procedure fee as in a traditional auction; in this reverse auction, consumers have the opportunity to meet any or all of the responding doctors for a free, pretreatment evaluation.
How Do I Participate?
To participate in Bid For Surgery you must first register with Medicine Online Inc. Only then will you have access via a unique password to the Bid For Surgery site where you can post your bids and credentials. The entire process is free of charge.
Medicine Online Inc. does not pre-select surgeons or dentists to participate in Bid For Surgery; in order to participate, though, physicians and dentists must first register.
What is Distinctive about Bid for Surgery?

- Doctors post bids in a "blind" manner to a password protected secure server; names and bids are never revealed to the other bidders

How Do I Price My Bid?
Doctors specializing in cosmetic procedures, in LASIK procedures and podiatric procedures make every effort to offer a "global" or an "integrated" fee structure. In Bid For Surgery's reverse auction, your bids are called a "total procedure fee".
This means your "total procedure fee" must include your own professional fees, professional fees of any other providers, any facility fees, and/or any diagnostic test and exam associated with the procedure. Bid for Surgery's goal is to present an all-inclusive price to the patient.
